Sailing Camp: 13 Jul - 17 Jul 2026
This summer, 2-CM Dreams had the incredible honor of sponsoring 16 young sailors through our From Swimming to Sailing Youth Empowerment Program at Annapolis Sailing School, and what an unforgettable journey it has been! Over two weeks in June and July, our sailors stepped aboard boats, learned new skills, faced challenges, built friendships, and discovered that they are capable of more than they ever
imagined.
Seven of our original eight sailors returned this summer to continue their sailing journey, with three advancing to Junior Sailing Camp and four progressing to Teen Sailing Camp. Nine new sailors began their own adventures through Lil’ Critters and Bay Scavengers, creating the
foundation for years of growth ahead. Watching these young people embrace challenges, encourage one another, and proudly celebrate
their accomplishments at graduation reminds us of what is possible when a community comes together.
This experience was made possible through the generosity and support of incredible partners, donors, and community members who believe every child deserves the opportunity to dream beyond their circumstances.
We are deeply grateful to:
- Annapolis Sailing School: for creating a safe, welcoming environment where our sailors could learn, grow, and discover the joy of sailing.
- Annapolis Police Department: for their continued partnership and commitment to creating positive opportunities for youth in our community.
- Bread and Butter Kitchen, Main and Market Café, and Grumps: for helping fuel our sailors throughout their journey and reminding them that their community is cheering them on.
- Our generous donors and supporters: whose belief in our mission made these opportunities possible.
Most importantly, we are grateful to the families who trusted us with their children, encouraged them every step of the way, and showed up to celebrate graduation day. Their presence transformed a simple ceremony into a true family celebration.
To our 16 sailors: we are proud of you. Keep learning. Keep exploring. Keep believing in yourself. The water is just the beginning of where your dreams can take you. Together, we are building pathways From Swimming to Sailing and showing young people that their possibilities are as limitless as the horizon.
